All you have to do is go find your windex or any window cleaner and spray. Now just spray the windex on the ring , try to get all around the ring. And bam! The ring will come off like your finger is inches thinner! Thank us later :) tight ring stuck Note : you can also use soap, but it doesn't work as well.

How to take care of that wet device

How to take care of that wet device: have you recently dropped your 1000$ phone in the toilet? Have you dropped your psp in the swimming pool? Are you worried that it will never work again? Well, there is still hope! Before you turn your wet device back on, put it in a huge bowl of rice, thats right, rice! All you have to do is let the device soak in rice for 12 hours. Please don't make the mistake of turning it on before putting it in rice [ raw ]. At that moment an electrical currents will be conducted by the iodized water particles through your negligence, frying key components in the device within seconds . So, the reason why this works is because like any other seed, rice tends to absorb water molecules from the air, as it evaporates from inside the device, the rice will quite literally...

Virginia bill to move back to gold

Virginia, originally named after the virgin Queen Elizabeth, and perhaps the first truly "American" colony has proposed a bill to move back to the gold standard. The goal of this bill is to allow Virginia to control their own monetary status. It's a bitter and extreme counter measure to growing dissent towards federally operated mints and banks. The bill was voted upon democratically today, and an overwhelming majority opted to pass it. As a result it will now move towards the US senate, where it will likely be crushed , and omitted from the history books. This is worrisome because the people are beginning to distrust banks as they did before "the great depression". This comes only one month after California and Texas attempted to secede , both of which were denied. Regardless, it is a shame to see the country in a pitiful state of disorder, unable to solve it's...

Hunas Falls

Hunas Falls are two waterfalls located in Sri Lanka, a country we are not too familiar with. these two waterfalls cascade 125 British feet per piece. There is a smaller one above the larger one, that is all we know from our clandestine sources. Hunas Waterfall compilation Furthermore, during the season of Asian monsoon, many, MANY commoners have been known to drown in the overflowing river created by the waterfall. Rare species of animals such as the Asian cayman , known to eat human flesh, and spiked tuna have been known to live in the Hunnas Waterfall area. According to the locals, there is actually an underwater cave that houses a monster, local drawing make it appear like a giant Cayman , with an elongated neck. We personally wont bother to actually go here, ever :) Today, it houses the finest hotels in all of Sri lanka, or so they say.

Syrian suicide bomber kills 80

A suicide bomber working for the "liberation army" of suicide bombers, fighting against the "evil government" of Syria has killed thirty men and fifty bystanders today. This is just another of what appears to be "the most affective" method of forcing the current president of Syria to step down. So, as you can now see, these peaceful people wage a peaceful protest against a power mongering demagogue, whom has spoken for the first time in six months today, stating "we will not negotiate with terrorists". This is very very bad, because this man is so evil that he is quoting president GW bush, how shocking. Another day of peaceful protests in Syria Honestly people, grow the F*** up, the press has brainwashed you into thinking that the opposition is actually a body of civilian figures, all looking for a peaceful end to a now prolonged civil war. We should neither sympathize...

Ant Lion

The ant lion is an odd bug indeed, often called the doodlebug for it's odd appearance. We think it's kind of cute. Ant Lion The ant lion is one of the most adept killers on earth. What it tends to do is as potential prey approaches, they dig a sand pit. When the idiot noob bug falls in the pit, the ant lion continues to dig at the walls until the prey no longer has energy to attempt to climb the impossible sand walls. The prey is then crushed with the ant lion's enormous jaws, and much like a spider, it drinks their bodily fluids. Those massive jaws are actually hollow, two small pieces of tissue form two canals, which are used to channel insect fluid into the Ant Lion's system from it's prey. Ant lion babies may be some of the coolest things on earth , but when they grow up,...

Cicada

Have you ever wondered what on earth is making that annoying buzzing sound in the trees? Or perhaps on an evening stroll you hear reverberating sounds coming from the trees, you think it's a bird , or maybe a plane, but no no, it's a Cicada! Cicada Molting The cicada is not related to locusts or grasshoppers, it is entirely different, although they do eat pretty much the same thing. Cicadas are dedicated vegetarian insects, they will under no circumstance eat insect larvae or anything of the nature. Cicadas are actually one of the most common insects on earth, often appearing in the late spring to early fall, chirping in your ears until you snap. The ones in the good old states usually sound like rattle snakes, progressively getting more annoying as you move further north. The ones in Japan and China are easier to listen to, some Japanese ones are actually...

Addax

The Addax is an odd antelope like animal with twisted horns. It is often referred to as the "screwhorn" due to it's large wine cork remover-like horns. The Addax is native to only small portions of Africa, it is currently in grave danger of extinction , and human settlement of it's feeding grounds are not helping to resolve the  problem at hand. Addax, much like elephants differ from most mammals because they live in herds  led by dominant females, rather than males. Usually the balance of males and females in a herd is even. Unlike antelope in general, all females and males breed, not just submissive males with the dominant female. If you ever confronted an Addax, and you kicked it in the face, it would impale you right through the chest with it's 3 1/2 British foot horns, so it is highly advisable never to kick, bite or punch an...

Pig lifting

In the Hanan province of China , there is always a community celebration called "the Hercules festival" where bodybuilding men show off to the rest of the town. Surprisingly, the most common of these "showoff" competitions is pig luggage lifting. The methodology behind this sport is simply attaching handles to the pigs, [the pigs] weighing various amounts up to 200 lbs.  The men then contest whom can lift two 200 lbs pigs in both hands. The winners get bragging rights, but it's  one heck of an innovative sport! One Chinese man trying to lift two large pigs

Acorn Weevil

The acorn weevil is a strange bug/insect, indigenous to North America.  They mostly feed on sap of acorns, and as a result, they grow larger than most other, more common species of weevil (due to high fat concentrate). Acorn Weevil   After finding an acorn, the weevil burrows a hole, sucks out the fat sap that cradles the delicate baby oak tree, and lays eggs , the babies will then emerge in months, and murder the poor seed inside the acorn. If they are unlucky, they will be massacred by hungry squirrels. For the squirrel, much like a mouse , would eat the larva , which is exceptionally high in protein. If the larvae do survive, they burrow out of the hole their mother (if you want to call it that) made. They can do this because as larva , they are like dough, very gelatinous, and pliable. Unfortunately, then they...

Starting your own website for free

We will go over a nice option for you if you are new to the whole "website making" arena. In fact, we will guide you through the process in three different steps. Servers   Step 1)  Get yourself a domain!   Getting yourself a domain is pretty easy, try any website , usually most domains will cost 14$(US) per year to uphold, although there are free alternatives, the free alternatives are usually overrun by spammers, resulting in exclusion from search engine results (especially google). Our personal favorite is hosting24 , but again there are many free alternatives, just don't expect them to get much traffic from google. Step 2) Setting up your hosting ! This can be the tricky part, ask yourself "Do I want to start out small?" Your answer will usually be "yes". Even YouTube started out as a small website hosted on a remote server. Our personal suggestion...

Ammonite

The ammonite is an odd creature, it looks quite archaic to be honest and that's because it is extinct. The ammonite was quite literally a squid with a shell. It was indeed carnivorous, it's closest living ancestor is the squid. Ammonite   Ammonites died out hundreds of years ago, under unknown circumstances, but they are perhaps the most common fossils people tend to find. So, if you ever find an ammonite fossil, don't be too proud, they are pretty much worthless :) Back in the day, when more primitive people found the ammonite , they assumed it was a coiled up snake, turned to stone. People usually thought such things were cursed, and associated possessors with witchcraft. Nevertheless, some of these things were the size of great white sharks, and they were strictly carnivorous, so we should be glad they are not around anymore :) Imagine being grappled by one's tentacles,...

Medical studies prove that anti psyhcotics do not work

Hello dear reader, I will switch from my usual writings of interesting, and informative things to simply reflect on a medical study I read recently. This study blatantly stated that patients suffering from psychosis, depression or abnormal  (minor) mental illness should never begin such drugs. The study was conducted by 13 separate research facilities in Canada and Northern United States.  As stated, the people used as test subjects "consented to being experimented upon" for a price of "free" "as is usually the case in Canada". Among the subject, you must note that 85% were women suffering from minor depression. This was agreed upon by the researchers following a study on lab mice, proving the drugs had no visible affect on the male mouse. As such the person (s) chosen to be the "lab mice" were put on these brand new anti psychotics and did as follows: 2% experienced positive affects 44%...

Why iphone 4s users should stick to ios5

Google released ios 6 early today, free from the app store. But, unfortunately, they took out one of the greatest things know to all the prior ios' : Google maps. They replaced it with some sort of (visually beautiful) crap that serves no useful purpose. Not only is it inferior to Google maps in functionality, but it's worse than just using your gps, like seriously it sucks! The new maps app is not complete garbage, but it cant find simple locations, fails at finding out where you are, doesn't have the compass type walking thing Google maps does, and worst of all, does not have transit options. Did I mention it barely understand the concept of anchor and direction. So be warned: Don't get ios 6 until this is addressed! Apple Maps Sucks

Alligator Gar

The alligator gar is one of the largest fresh water fish found in the lakes of the continental North America. The alligator gar receives the name "alligator" because it's frontal 'beak" is shaped like an alligator's mouth. Alligator Gar The alligator gar can grow to be an astonishing 365 pounds(165.56 kg) . The Alligator's main food supply comes from algae and other passive plant-life. But the Alligator Gar is indeed carnivorous, so it will stalk and kill almost anything that lives in the rivers of North America. From stingrays to small alligators, nothing is safe. Men have claimed to be bitten by alligator gars , this has never been proven, but it's an interesting thing to keep in mind the next time you go skinny dipping in the Mississippi, it might just bight off your crowned jewels :) 10 foot long alligator gar

PhoenixSearch update

As we have stated earlier, our beloved PhoenixSearch malfunctioned a few months ago, so we switched to a "custom Google" search type thing. Not only is this less power intensive on us, but the familiar layout might be more beneficial to you. Now, we recently modified it, you can now click to the top left corner of the PhoenixSearch module, on whether you want a " localized search " Or an " inter-web search " All you have to do is look to the top left, and click either " Search: The Order Of The Iron Phoenix " Or " Search: The Entire World "
