You know what's really baffling about skyrim? There is a quest in the dark-brotherhood story (which is also the most nasty story line in the game) which forces the player to kill Emperor Titus Meade II. Of course, the player has also just killed Titus Meade II's only known relative (Victoria Vici). So who exactly can possibly assume the throne of Emperor?
