Im just wondering if anyone here thinks that this could have taken place. know the gods got all pissy and started fighting right? Then what?
Ok in a way, Ragnarök is like a "purging". You see , it was an event in which the old Nordic gods were killed off, and the world was destroyed in a ball of fire.
But it does not simply end at that, the world is brought back,this time in light, and a three thousand year empire under a new, single god rises.
In a way it makes you wonder, could it have been created to foretell the coming of monotheism?
